父親 Father
2007
2007年，林銓居陸續發表大型展覽，其中台北關渡美術館個展「母土」呈現裝置作品《父親》，以稻草堆隱喻父親在家族與農村生活中的形象，展覽將農村物質如稻草、土壤、穀物等帶入展場，使早年的土地經驗從個人記憶進一步轉化為空間性的創作實踐。
《父親》裝置於2010年北京宋莊藝術節再次展出。
In 2007, Lin Chuan-Chu presented several major exhibitions. In his solo exhibition Mother Earth at the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts in Taipei, he exhibited the installation Father, using a haystack as a metaphor for his father’s place within the family and rural life. By bringing agricultural materials such as straw, soil, and grain into the exhibition space, Lin transformed his early experiences of the land from personal memory into a spatial artistic practice.
The installation Father was exhibited again at the Songzhuang Art Festival in Beijing in 2010.
